Welcome to Invention to Venture: Affordable Technology!
This is the first Invention to Venture workshop hosted by
the Lemelson-MIT Program, which is an activity of EurekaFest,
a celebration of the inventive spirit, from May 2-5, 2007,
in Boston and Cambridge, Mass.. The workshop is an introduction
to the process and practice of affordable technology entrepreneurship
in developing countries or unserved communities in the United
States. As with all I2V events, our goal is to engage a wide
range of participants from the university community, including
science and technology students and faculty as well as members
of the surrounding business community.
This event is a co-production of the
Lemelson-MIT
Program and the National
Collegiate Inventors & Innovators Alliance.
Cost: Students $10, Faculty/Admin $20, MIT Alumni $25 and
All Other $50
