Carnegie Mellon University will host a one-day workshop on the basics of technology entrepreneurship for all students interested in learning about what it takes to launch a venture.  Presentations will focus on entrepreneurship, intellectual property, business plans, and elevator pitch workshop and competition. Guest speakers are experts drawn from the region.

Invention to Venture workshops are held in cooperation with the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA).

 

Cost: The workshop is FREE to Carnegie Mellon students, faculty and staff, but registration is REQUIRED.  The event is also FREE and open to the greater Pittsburgh community.  You can register online or on site the day of the event. Pre registration is strongly encouraged especially for the keynote speaker since additional attendees will not be allowed into the room once its full to capacity.
