Welcome to Invention to Venture: Doing Business with the Government

The El Pomar Institute for Innovation and Commercialization (EPIIC) will host a one-day workshop Friday, April 25, 2008 on the basics of "How to do Business with the Government".

The workshop is intended primarily for college and university students and faculty members, but is also open to anyone who wants to know more about this very important topic. Presentations will focus on the new Venture Fund available to UCCS faculty, government sponsored research at universities and intellectual property matters,  forming a team to seek government funded proposals, contracts, and other issues related to contracting with the government.  Guest speakers are experts drawn from our Colorado Springs region.

Invention to Venture workshops are held in cooperation with the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA).

 

Cost: 

Students FREE, Faculty Members & Staff FREE Alumni FREE, and Business Community & Others FREE.

Participant guide, lunch and a continental breakfast are all included.
