Mr. Barry Batcheller, President & CEO of Appareo Systems

Appareo Systems is led by President and CEO Barry Batcheller. Batcheller has more than 30 years of experience in electronics design and has founded four successful companies - including Phoenix International, a company that grew to more than 1,400 employees before being acquired by Deere and Company in 1999. Batcheller has been named the North Dakota Business Innovator of the Year (1994), Fargo Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year (1995) and the North Dakota Entrepreneur of the year (2006). In addition to his responsibilities at Appareo, Batcheller also serves on the boards of several companies and organizations, including the North Dakota State University Research and Technology Park.

Mr. Michael Chambers, President & CEO of Aldevron

Michael Chambers is the President and CEO of Aldevron, LLC. With facilities in Fargo, ND; Madison, WI; and Freiburg, Germany, Aldevron manufactures proteins, antibodies, and DNA for preclinical, clinical, diagnostic and agricultural applications. Among Aldevron's accomplishments is the production of the world's first DNA vaccine to be used outside of a trial setting. Aldevron has also developed a novel quality system to accelerate the production of biologicals for phase I clinical trials. Michael is a graduate of North Dakota State University and plays an active role in developing the state's academic and industrial biotechnology infrastructure

Mr. John Cosgriff, Manager, North Dakota of InvestAmerica

Mr. Cosgriff joined InvestAmerica as the Manager of the North Dakota region in 1995. Prior to joining InvestAmerica, Cosgriff worked as a Business Development Specialist, Loan Officer, and International Trade Officer with the Small Business Administration in North Dakota. John currently serves as Manager for several InvestAmerica related companies, is an active portfolio manager at several portfolio companies, participates on several boards and is responsible for new investment selection and manages InvestAmerica's North Dakota office and its investment region.

Mr. Cosgriff received his MS in Economics and BS in Business Economics from North Dakota State University. He attended the NASBIC Venture Capital Institute.

The InvestAmerica team has over 100 cumulative years of venture capital/private equity experience. Since 1985, the members have invested over $100,000,000 in over 120 businesses. Three of the members have been together since 1986 and four of the members have been working together since 1995.

Mr. Joe Sandin, Co-Founder; Business Development & Strategy of OnSharp

Joe Sandin was born and raised in the small town of New London, Minnesota, before moving to the Twin Cities to pursue his undergraduate degree. He graduated from the University of Saint Thomas in 2002 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. Joe was one of two initial founders of Onsharp, Inc. in 2000 while he was still in college. Since then, Onsharp has become a fast-growing company focused on web-based solutions in order to help small businesses reach their full potential. Onsharp will celebrate its 10 year anniversary this coming July. The company is based out of Fargo, ND, where Joe resides with his wife, Toni, and daughter, Taylor.
