ASME's Center for Engineering Entrepreneurship & Innovation will host the Invention to Venture workshop as part of the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition, November 9-15, 2007.
Designed for the science, engineering,
and technology communities, this workshop is a one-day "entrepreneurship boot
camp" that teaches technology entrepreneurship basics, helps build networks,
and provides a framework for moving ideas forward. Topics include idea validation,
intellectual property management, marketing, building the team, creating a business
plan, and financing your idea.
