Mr. Jason Baer, Founder/President of Mighty InteractiveJason Baer is the senior director of interactive services at Mighty Interactive, a division of Off Madison Ave, an integrated communications firm in Tempe, Arizona. Mr. Baer has provided Internet consulting and online marketing services to more than 600 companies and organizations, including Nike, amp'd Mobile, Pulte Homes, ConocoPhillips, & Cold Stone Creamery Inc.
His firm has won numerous national awards for online marketing and Web design excellence, including best healthcare site in the U.S.; best investor relations site in the U.S.; and two awards as best political Web site in the U.S. The company has also been voted Arizona's Best Web Design and Internet Marketing Firm for the past three years by readers of Arizona Business Magazine.
Mr. Baer founded Mighty Interactive in 2000, before successfully merging the firm with Off Madison Ave in 2005.
Prior to starting Mighty Interactive, he was the managing online marketing executive for visitalk.com, a free Web-based voice and video calling service funded by $23 million in venture capital. Far ahead of its time, the core visitalk.com services are now provided by companies such as Skype (sold to eBay in 2005 for $2.6 billion).
Before joining the visitalk.com team, Mr. Baer was the co-founder and general manager of azfamily.com, powered by KTVK-3TV. Mr. Baer took azfamily.com from a blank sheet of paper to one of the country's first and largest local television Web properties, tallying more than 2 million visits per month. He also founded and managed the azfamily.com Web site development practice, and built U.S. Senator John McCain's 2000 Presidential campaign Web site, widely recognized as the first truly successful political fundraising Web site ($6 million raised). Azfamily.com was acquired along with KTVK and other assets by Belo Corporation (NYSE: BLC) in 1999.
In 1994, Baer began his career as an online pioneer with Internet Direct, Inc. the first Internet service provider in Arizona, and a world-wide pioneer in virtual Web hosting. Serving as the company's vice president of sales and marketing, the company moved in nine months from approximately 100 customers in the U.S. to more than 1,200 customers in 23 countries. Internet Direct, Inc. was acquired by Mindspring (now Earthlink (NASDQ: ELNK)) in 1998.
Mr. Baer also has a wide range of experience as a political consultant and marketing/public relations executive. He provided strategic and marketing advice with an emphasis on direct mail and radio to U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, gubernatorial and state-wide initiative campaigns. He also provided public relations counsel to corporate and government clients nationwide.
He spent more than two years as the manager of Arizona marketing for Waste Management Inc. (NYSE: WMI), a Fortune 30 company at that time. He also served as public information officer for the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, working on message strategy, crisis communications and government and media relations.
Mr. Baer holds a degree in political science with an emphasis in political advertising and a minor in communications from the University of Arizona, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He attended on full scholarship as a Flinn Scholar, awarded annually to 20 outstanding Arizona high school students. While there, he managed more than 250 student events annually as president of the Student Union Activities Board, and co-founded the university's student radio station, KAMP.
He currently serves on the board of directors of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and on the advisory board for the School of Communications at Northern Arizona University. He is a past board member of the American Advertising Federation (the nation's largest advertising association), the Phoenix Advertising Club and Southwest Human Development. He has served two terms as national president of Ad 2, the young professionals division of the American Advertising Federation, and two terms as president of the local chapter. He was a finalist for volunteer of the year for Arizona Special Olympics, and participates in a wide variety of other community activities.
The Business Journal of Phoenix named him to metro Phoenix's inaugural "40 Business Leaders Under 40" list in 2001.
He is a frequent speaker at marketing and advertising conferences nation-wide, and his bi-monthly column on interactive marketing appears in bizAZ Magazine and other publications.
Mr. Baer moved with his wife and two young children to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2004, and commutes weekly to the Phoenix area.

Mr. Steve Atkins, Research Engineer of Northern Arizona UniversitySteve Atkins is an expert in wind energy including variable speed power systems modeling, design, component specification, testing, and project management. While he has modeling experience developing a wind turbine system model to determine optimal operating characteristics for maximum energy capture, he also has field experience troubleshooting numerous generators and power conversion systems. In addition, Steve's experience includes Utility interfacing, synchronization, safety, power quality and instrumentation/metering systems. Having worked for several years in Alaska, Steve is familiar with the fundamental issues of Arctic Engineering and experienced in cold weather design. Steve's years of experience working in Alaska have given him insight into many electrical component difficulties in harsh winter weather, enabling him to minimize data loss and project delays.
Steve joined US Electricar in 1992 where he designed microprocessor-controlled battery chargers and motor controllers for electric vehicles. In 1995 he joined the wind industry, working successively for Zond Energy Systems, Enron Wind Corporation and the Wind Turbine Company, where he was responsible for the development of variable speed, power electronic drive systems and generator design for utility-scale (750 KW) wind turbines. Steve has served for three years as a Project Engineer for VECO Alaska Inc, where he was responsible for numerous engineering projects for Alyeska Pipeline at the Valdez Marine Terminal. While working at the Valdez Marine Terminal, Steve began researching synthetic fuel development.
Currently, Steve is a Research Engineer for the Sustainable Energy Solutions group at Northern Arizona University, where he is responsible for the management, implementation and commercial spin-off of several alternative energy projects.
Steve received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 1989 and 1991 and is a registered in the State of Alaska as a Professional Engineer. His professional experience and interests are in power electronics, controls, adaptive systems, alternative energy and synthetic fuels. In addition, he served as a technical inspector and race official for numerous electric vehicle technology competitions.

Ms. Sharon Ballard, President of EnableVentures, Inc.Mrs. Ballard is currently president/CEO of EnableVentures, Inc., and previously a founder and former President/CEO of Reticular Systems, Inc., a privately held California corporation (1989). Reticular Systems developed intelligent agent-based patented computer hardware and software products that solve complex, time-critical problems. Under her leadership, Reticular won over 30 SBIR Program awards. Reticular spun out new ventures that were purchased by venture-backed companies. Reticular products have been sold to thousands of customers globally (http://www.agentbuilder.com). Prior to founding Reticular Systems, Mrs. Ballard was Director of Business Development for Titan Corporation, a NYSE company. She was Business Development Manager with Motorola, Inc., responsible for both technology and systems sales for the satellite communications business unit. Mrs. Ballard was an Engineering Manager then Sales Manager with LINKABIT Corporation, where she started as the 18th full-time employee. The founders of LINKABIT later founded QUALCOMM Inc. When she left LINKABIT to join Motorola 8 years later, LINKABIT was over 600 employees.
Ms. Ballard was the first Management Fellow for the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) CONNECT Springboard Program. She mentored over 60 early-stage companies (about half had technologies and products in life sciences); and dozens of high-technology ventures in the San Diego Technology Incubator. Since 2000, she has served annual fellowships with the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow; and as instructor/coach for the University of Jyväskylä and Jyväskylä Innovation sponsored Supercoach® Entrepreneurial Training and the establishment of their Launch Pad Program, modeled after CONNECT's Springboard Program. She is a frequent judge for annual student business plan competitions nationally, and coaches presenters for several annual investment conferences.
In 2003, she co-founded Arizona State University's Technopolis Program, modeled after UCSD CONNECT. Since 2003, she has been a consultant for scores of grant awards from the Arizona Department of Commerce to assist clients with high risk/high payoff research and development proposals for SBIR Program funding. In 2006, Mrs. Ballard was selected as a delegate to Syracuse University's Experiential Classroom VII, an annual program designed to demonstrate best practice innovations for entrepreneurship educators, including a variety of experiential and application-oriented pedagogical tools. Delegates are chosen competitively based on their roles in and contributions to entrepreneurship education.
Mrs. Ballard travels extensively both globally and nationally. When she is home, she is either in Alma, Arkansas and Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to her move to Arizona in 2000, Mrs. Ballard was studying theoretical physics at Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego.

Mrs. Susan Casebeer, Chief Financiel Officer of Southwest WindpowerSusan Ann Casebeer has always integrated her professional career with bettering the community. She is described as having "a passion for giving and a passion to help others to give."
Susan began as a CPA with KPMG, and has worked with NAU, W.L. Gore, and Hufford, Horstman, Mongini, Parnell and McCarthy. One highlight of her time there was spearheading the law firm's relocation into the old downtown police station, thus helping to renovate and preserve this piece of Flagstaff history.
While at Gore, Susan helped two local entrepreneurs create a business plan for a new company, ultimately leading to her current position as CFO of Southwest Windpower. There, she oversees all financial issues for this company, including venture capital stock offerings, debt structures, US Export Import Bank insurance, and currency trades. The Company occupies a building she helped finance with Industrial Revenue Bonds while she served on the City Industrial Development Authority in the 1980s.
Her position ties nicely with Susan's concern for the environment. She can be seen driving to work every day in her hybrid vehicle, getting 62 miles to the gallon.
Susan has always attempted to grow women around her. While at the NAU Development Office, she mentored many women in fundraising. She has served as the president of the American Society of Women Accountants, and helped promote women in the profession of accounting. She hires and mentors accounting students wherever she is.
Her extensive volunteerism includes being president of The Guidance Center, where she led the effort to build the new center on Vickey Street. She is also past president of the Coconino Community College Foundation, where she was instrumental in the purchase of the Fourth Street facility and the building of the new Lone Tree campus facility.

Mr. Marc Chopin, Associate Dean of Franke School of Business Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Economics for the W.A. Franke College of Business. Dr. Chopin also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board for the Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologies, Northern Arizona's business and technology incubator. Dr. Chopin has worked with inventors and student teams to evaluate the commercial viability of new products. Mr. Robert Eaton of Arizona BioIndustry AssociationRobert Eaton is President & CEO of the Arizona BioIndustry Association, a not-for-profit trade association which provides a variety of services to its member companies throughout the state of Arizona. Prior to his current position, Mr. Eaton spent 10 years as President of MdBio, Inc., a bioscience industry support organization based in Frederick, Maryland. From 1988-1994, he held a variety of positions in the Science & Technology Division of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (now PhRMA) in Washington, DC, and was Director of Programs for the Suburban Maryland High Technology Council from 1994-1997.
Mr. Eaton holds a Master's degree in Science, Technology & Public Policy from George Washington University and a B.S. in Applied & Engineering Physics from Cornell University.

Dr. John Haeger, President of Northern Arizona UniversityJohn D. Haeger leads Northern Arizona University in its commitment to undergraduate education-a commitment enhanced by the university's ongoing efforts in research, graduate education and distance learning. Dr. Haeger has been NAU president since November 2001 after joining the university to serve as NAU provost in June 2000.
During his term as president, Dr. Haeger has led the university as it emphasized the integration of technology in teaching and student services. He also has strengthened the university's ties to Arizona's rural students who receive their educations through NAU's distance learning programs. At the same time, the university has reemphasized its commitment to internationalization, with new agreements with Chinese universities and renewed exchange opportunities around the world.
Dr. Haeger is a member Arizona Board of Education, the Governor's P-20 Council, the board of directors of the Translational Genomics Research Institute, known as TGen, is former chair of the United Way of Northern Arizona board, serves as commissioner for the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, and is past chair of the Council of Presidents of the Big Sky Conference.
Dr. Haeger has worked at all levels of higher education-professor, chair, dean, vice president, and provost.
Dr. Haeger earned his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from Loyola University in Chicago. He was a professor and chair of the history department at Central Michigan University as well as the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. He later worked as associate dean and then interim dean and finally dean of the College of Graduate Studies/Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at the same institution.
He also served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Towson University in Maryland.
He had substantial years in the classroom before his administrative career and published several books and numerous articles on topics related to the history of economic change in the United States and how it affects individuals and institutions. His work on The Investment Frontier won a national award from Choice magazine and his book on John Astor argued for Astor's role as the first modern American venture capitalist.

Dr. Laura Huenneke, Vice President of Northern Arizona University www.research.nau.edu Laura Huenneke has been recently named NAU's vice president for Research.
Huenneke, who has served as founding dean of the NAU College of Engineering and Natural Sciences since 2004, will assume her new post after an interim dean is named for the college. Her appointment is contingent upon approval by the Arizona Board of Regents, which is expected in March.
Prior to joining NAU in 2003 as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Huenneke was chair of the Department of Biology at New Mexico State University, where she was named a Regents' Professor.
During her career, Huenneke has worked on faculty development, including a focus on helping early-career faculty build their capabilities and records as researchers. As dean, she has been involved with major construction projects for engineering and science buildings and has led strategic planning for the college.
Huenneke also has been engaged with regional economic development through the Northern Arizona Bioscience Roadmap, a regional focus of the state's commitment to the biosciences. Additionally, she is a board member for the Coconino County Sustainable Economic Development Initiative, which includes corporate, nonprofit, governmental and educational representatives.
As a researcher in plant ecology, conservation biology and ecosystem science, Huenneke has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. She was the lead investigator of the Jornada Basin Long-Term Ecological Research Site, a multimillion dollar consortium of university and federal investigators. She also managed significant external funding from the National Science Foundation, the Biological Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey and other sources. Huenneke has international experience in research collaborations with colleagues in South Africa, Argentina, Australia, the United Kingdom and Mexico, and in training graduate and postdoctoral students from Mexico and China.
Huenneke served on the Research and Graduate Education Task Force at NAU, which recommended to the president in 2006 the separation of the positions of vice provost for Research and dean of the Graduate College. That recommendation ultimately led to the search for a vice president for Research.

Mr. Andrew Kruse, Co-founder and Executive Vice President of Southwest Windpowerwww.windenergy.com Andy Kruse is co-founder and Executive Vice President of Southwest Windpower, the world's leading manufacturer of residential scale wind generators. His company's products are used to supply energy for lighting, water pumping, telecommunication systems, sail boats and grid connected homes in more than 120 countries. Andy has been involved in the renewable energy industry for over 20 years and has worked in over 70 countries promoting residential scale renewables. His background is in management, international marketing, channel development and policy. Mr. Kruse oversees the company's Sales, Marketing and Governmental Affairs. Much of his time currently is lobbying at Federal and State levels for the small wind industry.
Andy has written numerous articles on renewable energy relating to system design, market strategies and received a number of awards relating to his company. Furthermore, he sits on several advisory boards for that support renewables. He also has a small business blog on Slate.com.

Dr. Loretta Mayer of SenesTechwww.senestech.com After a 20-year career in business, Dr. Mayer returned to school and received both a Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Northern Arizona University in Biology. Dedicated to promoting excellence in women's health research, Dr. Mayer accepted a post-doctoral appointment with the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Mayer spent three years working with Dr. Patricia B. Hoyer at the University of Arizona to develop a chemically-induced model for peri- and post-menopause in rodents. Doctors Hoyer and Mayer currently hold a patent for their Mouseopause™ model, making it available to research and educational institutions worldwide through The Jackson Laboratory. Dr. Mayer was awarded the 2003 American Heart Association's Jr. Investigator Award for Women and the Glenn Foundation Endocrinology and Aging Award, 2004 for her work using the Mouseopause™ model.
Dr. Mayer is a founding director of the Discovery Institute for Women's Health, a non-profit corporation in Phoenix, Arizona. She is actively involved in supporting the activities and research efforts of the Institute and serves as spokesperson for the Institute at conferences statewide. Dr. Mayer and Dr. Dyer are actively engaged in founding the Discovery Research Center on the campus of Northern Arizona University.
Dr. Mayer is currently an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Northern Arizona University and Director of the Imaging and Histology Core Facility.

He is also CEO of DJT Enterprises, which provides strategy and business development guidance to early stage ventures. In these roles, Mr. O'Neill has taught, coached, mentored or advised 200+ early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs since 2001, including a full range of ventures from a wide variety of industries: for-profit and non-profit, high potential and micro, urban and rural, hi-tech and non-tech, product and service, local and global. Mr. O'Neill has coached 40+ of those companies through ASU Technopolis' intensive one-on-one Global Launch Pad program, including companies in Europe and Australia. After obtaining a degree in Computer Science in 1980, Mr. O'Neill began his career as a Marketing Representative for IBM, selling a full range of information systems products and services to medium and large enterprises. During his tenure, Mr. O'Neill completed IBM's acclaimed Marketing Education, Manufacturing Institute and President's Class. After leaving IBM Mr. O'Neill spent two years traveling throughout the globe. In 1985 Mr. O'Neill went to work for Transform Logic, an emerging Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) company providing education and consulting services. In 1987, Mr. O'Neill became an internal innovator at Transform when he combined its CASE tools with a groundbreaking object-oriented methodology to build one of the world's first functional software factories, which he employed to propose, win and manage multi-million dollar application projects. In 1988, Mr. O'Neill joined with two other founders to create Miles Burke Associates, a custom software development company that developed complex operations applications for large process manufacturing companies. In 1998 the partners transitioned the company into Hologix, an order management and supply chain solutions software product company backed by $25 million from first-tier venture capital firms from the Bay Area, New York and Austin. After helping grow Hologix to $10 million in software revenues and 120 employees, Mr. O'Neill left in 2000 to begin his entrepreneurial consulting practice. Mr. O'Neill has been involved in numerous community development efforts and non-profit ventures. He served on Arizona's Innovation and Technology Council and its Advanced Communications and Information Technology Committee. Mr. O'Neill is President of the Board of Trustees of Childsplay, Arizona's professional theatre for young audiences, which recently completed an $8 million capital campaign. Mr. O'Neill's current areas of work include applying Sustainable Development to Entrepreneurship and Community Development, applying Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Sustainable Technologies Opportunities and developing Entrepreneurship as Storytelling.

Dr. Timothy Porter, Professor of Physics and Astronomy, Northern Arizona University In 1988 Dr. Dr. Timothy Porter joined the faculty at Northern Arizona University. Dr. Porter has served as Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, and is currently a Professor in Physics and Director of the Strategic Alliance for Biotechnology Research and Education (SABRE). Currently, Dr. Porter's research is focused on the development of chemical and biological microsensors, and he holds 4 patents on this technology with a 5th patent pending. This sensor technology has also been licensed for development of medical diagnostic microsensors.

Dr. Al Poskanzer, President of Poskanzer & AssociatesDr Poskanzer is a seasoned professional with a combination of business & academic qualifications and experience spanning 31 years including 11 years successful industrial R&D experience with jobs such as research group leader and research manager at the Dynachem Division of Morton-Thiokol.
During that time, Dr. Poskanzer and his team developed over 60 new chemical products for the printed circuit and microelectronics industries, several of which set the industry standard. Dr. Poskanzer then spent 7 years in industrial sales & marketing, including his service as a Chief Operating Officer of a small startup company producing and selling products he developed. Dr. Poskanzer is a technologist with 20 years experience assessing and evaluating new technologies as a technology assessment consultant. He has spent eleven years in academia managing a broad portfolio of technologies and negotiating and closing complex licensing deals.
He has technology licensing experience at the University of California and Arizona State University, where he directed the licensing office. He has also licensed patented technologies as varied as rechargeable lithium battery technology and anti-cancer pharmaceuticals. Under his watch, ASU became 10th in the nation for new inventions disclosed by the faculty and 7th in the nation for new company startups. Dr. Poskanzer has most recently served as Director of Technology Licensing at Boeing, where he licensed important composite molding and drilling technologies for a broad variety of Boeing products, including the C-17, the F-22, and Boeing's new 787 jetliner.
Dr. Poskanzer has authored over 120 papers and publications in the specialty chemicals industry and is the recipient of the "Gold Medal Award" from the American Electroplaters Society. Dr. Poskanzer is also the recipient of the 1999 Chairman's Award from the Arizona Governor's Strategic Partnership for Economic Development for his contributions in creating and implementing the Intellectual Property Policy of the Arizona Board of Regents, one of the most progressive in the nation.

Mr. Thomas Rainey, President of Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologiesemail:Trainey@NACET.org phone: (928) 213-9234 - www.NACET.org Thomas Rainey is the President of the Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologies (NACET) in Flagstaff, Arizona. NACET is a targeted business development initiative designed to foster the success of new high-technology firms in association with the Northern Arizona University, the City of Flagstaff, Coconino County, the State of Arizona and other strategic partners.
From January 2002 to September 2007 Rainey was President of the Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies in Burlington, Vermont. Rainey was also the principal consultant at Rainey & Associates; a consulting firm specialized in science and technology-based economic development strategies. The firm developed business and economic development strategies and feasibility and funding strategies for Dartmouth College, State of New Hampshire, University of Vermont, and the University of Wisconsin's affiliated La Crosse Health Sciences Center as well as and the towns of Bennington, Springfield and Windsor, Vermont.
As director of the Florida/NASA Business Incubation Centers (1998-2000) Tom managed a nationally recognized technology incubator program designed to assist entrepreneurs associated with the Kennedy Space Center, and managed the development of a network of six technology incubators around Florida. Rainey was a co-founder of the Space Coast Capital Formation Program, and founder and President of the Florida Business Incubation Association. The NASA incubation program assisted over 25 on-site and off site high-tech businesses resulting in the licensing of seven NASA technologies.
From 1993 - 1998 Rainey served as the Director of the St. Louis Enterprise Centers in St. Louis, Missouri and developed a network of five incubators serving over 60 new businesses. Responsibilities included program and property management, client support, fund raising, real estate development (180,000 s.f.), and close collaboration with major corporate supporters and sponsors including Monsanto and McDonnell Douglas. Rainey raised a total of $16 million in private, state and federal funding to support this program.
From 1994 to 1995, Rainey served as Business Development Manager for the St. Louis Defense Adjustment Program. This $3 million initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, Office of Economic Adjustment was designed to diversify the St. Louis economy in the wake of severe defense cutbacks and corporate down-sizing. Rainey assisted in launching eight spin-off companies from McDonnell Douglas. Rainey was also the Director of both the St. Louis Defense Adjustment Small Business Development Center and Mid Continent Technology Transfer Center based in St. Louis. These centers linked private sector firms with NASA and federal laboratory technology.
From 1989 to 1992 Rainey was the Executive Director of the California Central Coast World Trade Center. This center provided international trade assistance to hundreds of member companies in cooperation with World Trade Centers worldwide. Rainey developed and managed an SBA sponsored Export Assistance Center to promote foreign market entry by small businesses and was the Director of the Center for International Trade Development, a State of California program to train California businesses in the basics of international trade.
Rainey holds a Master's Degree in Science and Technology Policy (March 1988) from Lund University, Sweden, a Graduate Degree in Social Sciences, (June 1986) from the University of Stockholm, Sweden, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science (August 1985) from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Carl Taylor of Coconino County Sustainable Economic Development InitiativeCarl attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, graduating with a degree in Architecture. During his architectural career in Atlanta, he established and managed an architectural and engineering firm with a specialty in technological projects and buildings designed to incorporate sustainable or green ideas. Carl has resided in Flagstaff since 1997. He has served as a pro-bono consultant for non-profit entities having need for new or renovated physical facilities and/or needing some help with the development of strategic plans. Carl has been involved in leadership roles in the Flagstaff Symphony, the Flagstaff Leadership Program, The Arboretum, United Way and the Master Chorale. Carl was elected to the Coconino County Board of Supervisors in 2004 as the representative for District 1. He served as Chairman of the Board for 2007. District 1 includes nearly one third of Flagstaff and stretches north to the Utah border and west nearly to Peach Springs. He is currently Board Chairman of both SEDI (The Sustainable Economic Development Initiative) and CREDA (Canyon Region Economic Development Alliance). In1995, at 25 years of age, he joined the Global Board of Directors in the UK in view of his outstanding contribution to the company and his pioneering expansion of the company's service into foreign markets.
In 1997, having secured a strong foothold in the US with clients NBC, Eastman Kodak and MTV, he established ATTIK in New York. Over the next two years, he steered his team to become recognized as a leading creative force in the US. The success in New York quickly spread across America and soon clients Nike, Levi Strauss, Columbia Tristar and Sony partnered with ATTIK for its ground-breaking branding solutions and understanding of youth engagement. This required closer attention to the West Coast and so in 1999 Will launched ATTIK in San Francisco where he transitioned the company from branding agency to a full service brand engineering group.
Currently based in New York, he helps oversee the growth and success of the US business and the expansion of global clients Scion, ExpressJet, Boost Mobile and Sony.
A father of two, he represents both the industry and the company by lecturing around the world and still manages to keep his passion for exploring, recently returning after climbing Vinson Massif in the Antarctic, Mt Elbruz in Russia and motor biking the worlds highest "road" through the Himalayas this past July.

Dr. Timothy Vail, Associate Professor of Northern Arizona University's Department of Chemistry and BiochemistryTimothy L. Vail is currently an Associate Professor of Biochemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Northern Arizona University. He has degrees from Rutgers University (B.Sc.), Farleigh Dickinson University (M.Sc.) and Lehigh University (Ph.D.). He is also the co-founder, President, and CEO of Blue Mountain Technologies, Inc., an Arizona - based early stage corporation focused on research and development of novel diagnostic platforms. Dr. Vail is a former principal investigator for Orasure Technologies, Inc. and has over twelve years experience in biotechnology research, development, and technology transfer. He has multiple peer-reviewed publications and a substantial portfolio of intellectual property. In addition, he serves on the Bio-Engineering Committee of the Flinn Foundation and the NAU Intellectual Property Committee. Mr. Brad Van Orden, President of SunWind SolutionsMr. Van Orden became involved with renewable energy as an engineering student at NAU. As an undergraduate he designed a hybrid renewable energy system for a ranch as a part of an independent study. Inspired by the results of the study, he became determined to create software that could be used by anyone to design similar energy systems for their homes or businesses. His efforts became the foundation for SunWind Solutions, a company specializing in web-based renewable energy system design software. Mr. Van Orden is currently the President of SunWind Solutions, and lives in Flagstaff.

Andrew Wykstra, President - Flagstaff of Compass Bank Andrew S. Wykstra - has 20 years banking experience. Andy has been the Flagstaff President of Compass Bank since 1999 and the Arizona Regional Community Banking President for Compass Bank since 2000. Prior to working with Compass Bank, Andy worked for Norwest and Wells Fargo Bank's in Texas, Arizona and Colorado. His previous position was Senior Vice President-Manager of Norwest/Wells Fargo Bank in Lubbock, Texas. In his role as SVP he managed the Commercial and Real Estate Banking Divisions which included a Middle Market Banking Department and 2 Business Banking units. Other senior management experience includes Senior Vice President of Norwest in Flagstaff, Arizona managing the Commercial Banking group. Andy has a BS degree in Economics and Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Community and business associations include past Chairman of the Board of Junior Achievement of Northern Arizona, Volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement of Arizona, a two-time Past President of the Flagstaff Sunrise Rotary Club, past member of the Executive Board for Northern Arizona University Athletic Association. Andy has been a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence - a volunteer organization that raises and trains canines as wheelchair assistance dogs. Andy has spent more than 15 years coaching youth basketball and has been involved with the education and coaching of youth most of his adult life.
