Welcome to Invention to Venture: University of Portland

Dates:  February 13th and 14th, 2009

The University of Portland will host a Friday evening plus all day Saturday conference on starting new ventures.  The social event Friday evening will be downtown Portland and all Saturday sessions will be on the University of Portland campus.

This event is intended primarily for college and university students, but is also open to anyone interested in transforming ideas into ventures.  Guest speakers and panelists are experts drawn from the Pacific Northwest.

Registration Fee:

$25 for Students and University Faculty & Staff

$50 for all others

The registration fee includes a participant guide, Friday evening reception, continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks.

Hotel:  The Mark Spencer hotel in downtown Portland has limited availability for February 13 and 14.  Their rates are $79/night for a standard Queen bed room (+12.5% hotel tax) and $99/night+ tax for a Jr or Exec suite (sleeps four with one Queen bed and one pull-out couch).
