Aligning Value Chains, Chemical Sectors and Your Center's Research
• Background: What is a sector, what is a value chain, what is a technology platform, and the implications for your Center?
• Exercise: Determine the sector(s) where your technology links and why you think it links as the basis for tech translation
• Report out: Sector alignment with the research at the Center. (Speed pitch by Center Teams) (What is the technology their Center? What problems are being addressed. Define up to 3 sectors for which your technology has relevance and why.

Homework: Prepare a PowerPoint presentation to accompany a Pitch using the framework provided. Use no more than 7 slides. If there is a venture, include 5 venture slides and 2 slides on dissemination back at the CCI. If there is no venture, focus the presentation on dissemination and use 5 - 7 slides.
