Who is eligible to participate in VentureLab Green Living?
Students, faculty and business community members working in areas including but not limited to:
- Waste reduction technologies
- Environmental management
- Clean energies (solar, wind, hydrogen, etc.)
- Next generation transportation
- Organic food and farming
- Upcycled products
- Reduce-reuse-recycle
- Green building
- Clean water/water conservation and management
- And more!
Do I have to be from Illinois to participate?
No, the workshop is open to everyone working to commercialize a green or sustainable technology, product, service.
Will I have a place to stay if I come from out of town?
Yes! A block of rooms has been secured at a nearby hotel. The details will be sent to you when you are accepted.
What do you mean by sustainable?
In this context sustainable means, "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
